ld farewell '05
whoa. p10 played wake me up when september ends and this is how a heart breaks. makes it worthwhile to get up at this time.i cant deny it anymore. computer has become the new caffeine. my brain no longer abides by the power of coffee, which is slowly diminishing, failing to achieve more than merely lubricating my throat.
been wanting to update abt sunday's trip to town with mum and sis. for once i didnt know wad to wear to town without looking like a heartlander auntie. imbecility.(okay it just sounds more refined than saying idiotic.) anw spent 4h++ of productive shopping. it was painful to completely tear myself away from wishful wants though. so mum disapproved of jaywalking in town. why? she remarked, aiyah since you're so inexperienced in orchard, listen to me lahh. okay LOR. haha i must say it was qte an intellectual shopping experience, analyzing prices, accessing practicality and at the end of the day got stuff from topshop, OP and daniel yam. so yes, didnt dare to ask how much we spent in total. (:
22062005; ld camp. had a wacky time with the juniors. :D our traditional night trail was impressive. really really. the sec3s rocked. haha the sixseniors pet, mel, bella, jas, gen and i revived the boyband days, survived a mini-crisis, had a good solid time. fast forward to after chem and phy prac (acid in my wound, sighhh), it was farewell. i rmb reading the seniors' entries last year and the emptiness i felt when we were on our own for ld sessions. the period of time i awoke each morning feeling darn scared abt stepping up. then it all happened. hard to believe the day i miss saying ld stand will actually come. the emptiness this time is different. silently, subconsciously but constantly aching.

ytd night a moth committed a melodramatic suicide before my eyes. the minute i stepped into the shower i saw this dark brown elongated trapezium above the mirror. a foreign object that didnt belong on the wall tile. i thought, you dont disturb me i wont disturb you right? then 5 min later, with my blurred vision, i saw that the wall tile above the mirror was clear. great. the trapezium circled the confined area of the toilet. being mildly claustrophobic, i was in a slightly hysterical and ridiculous state. that's when i realised i had an invincible element. WATER. mister moth drowned. i'm glad i dont have perfect vision. haha! what a way to end the day.
sweet sorrow is the call tomorrow.
